What John does
John’s primary roles are content development and mobile strategy – identifying how your website supports your business goals, then revisiting the content so it best fits the mobile environment. Sometimes that means writing new messaging, restructuring existing content or, in many cases, a bit of both.
Skills and Expertise
John is a qualified communications professional, with nearly 20 years’ experience of web development, copywriting, graphic design, print and event production. He was director of a London design agency for ten years and has spent time as creative director for a marketing services company, having kicked it all off as a publicity officer for central government.
In 2008 he went self-employed. The main driver behind this move was to build worthwhile partnerships with interesting and meaningful organisations – especially where the challenge is to deliver more engaging, fun and inspired outputs. It means clients get the very best of him, and for John there are new challenges all the time. It certainly beats doing the same old stuff day in, day out.
John is also the main daily contact for your mobilisation project and oversees production, start to finish, with the design and development teams. The way our team works will make sure the process is trouble-free and results in a mobile strategy that hits the mark. It will be efficient first and foremost, and hopefully fun, too.
Outside of work
When the work stuff ends, John enjoys wandering around mountains, family time, movies, blue cheese, red wine, most sports and reading.
